The location, nestled next to Whinlatter Forest and a picturesque river, provided a peaceful and serene setting for my getaway. the accommodation itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a thoughtful touch of a bottle of bubbly and a personal card from the owner to welcome us. the warmth and coziness of the cottage made it a perfect retreat from the cold weather outside. One aspect that truly impressed me was the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed for our 4-day stay. the stunning views from every window of the cottage, along with minimal light pollution, made for incredible stargazing opportunities. the attention to detail, such as providing ironing facilities and a washing machine, truly set this accommodation apart. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and would love to return in the future.
